Business Modeling Roles

This topic describes the different business modeling roles in Process Platform.

Process Platform business modeling environment supports the following roles:

Process Developer

A user with the role of a process developer models business processes in the Process Platform environment. A process developer can also perform the functions of a business analyst. The following functions can be exclusively performed by a process developer.

• Validate a process model
  
• Publish a process model
  
• Run a process model
  

Process Administrator

A user with the role of a process administrator deploys, monitors and archives published business processes in the Process Platform environment. The following functions can be performed by a process administrator.

• View audit information of published processes
  
• Monitor business process instances
  
• Archive process instances
